It’s Friday already so here I am and there you are! The weeks seem to fly this time of year, right?! Cherie_Gets_Social___VoIP_Innovations-2

Unless of course, your week was dragging along and you’re muttering under your breath, “Lady, I didn’t think Friday would EVER come. Pipe down over there with your fast-flying-week stuff.” Whatever the case, it’s Friday and time for  Cherie Gets Social and a VoIP Innovations recap of the week!



From the VoIP Vault

A couple days ago, we posted the article Questions to Ask When Selecting a VoIP Provider. It’s chock full of important questions that you should definitely have ready if you’re choosing a VoIP Provider or simply tossing the idea around right now.

I do believe I promised you a post about our Traffic Analysis Service. Now, I firmly believe in keeping my promises, but it’s not quite ready for you. I wish I could blame evil elves taking a break from toy-building for the more exciting challenge of hacking into my documents, but no such thing occurred. Yet.

--spoke too soon--the elves did intercept my post about the FreePBX Hosted Billing Solution. I should manage to get my hands on it by next week and will promptly deliver it to you. This feature will be awesome because you'll learn how with FreePBX integration, users can configure the module and automatically have their CDRs from the FreePBX system imported into their Hosted Billing account. Be on the lookout for it!

    • New Year’s Eve – Closed after 1
    • New Year’s Day – Closed

Porting:

    • Christmas Eve: Closing at 4 p.m. EST
    • Christmas Day: Closed
    • New Year’s Day: Closed

Support:

    • Christmas Eve: Normal Hours
    • Christmas Day: Closed, but responding to emergencies only via tickets
    • New Year’s Day: Closed, but responding to emergencies only via tickets

 

*Emergencies are if customer calls are failing due to a VI issue.

Around the office...

Kimmie_R_one_year_picCongratulations to Kimmie R. for reaching her one year anniversary with VI as of December 16!!

When asked about her past year she said, "I love it here and still love coming to work every day!" Kimmie went on to say, (while giving a thumbs up in real life, I might add) "I have a ton of fun--It's the best!!"


Also on December 16, our parent company ABG Capital was happy to take part in the Light Up A Child’s Life campaign for Make-A-Wish® Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia. GlobalPOPs President Dan Ravenstahl, ABG Capital CEO Jeff Tapolci, and yours truly ventured to the Mall at Robinson for a live interview on Make-A-Wish TV and the presentation of our donation.

Through the generous employee contributions and team fundraising efforts, we were able to provide for the wishes of three children! Warm fuzzies were felt all around!
