We had a relatively calm week at VoIP Innovations, but there are definitely some exciting things to look forward to in the upcoming weeks. One of the newest features we released this week in our BackOffice was with the LNP Provisioning Check. If you’ve been in our back office, you know that when you are trying to port a number it has to go through a check and if it passes the check, then you have the option to select which services you’d like to get. Until this week you were not able to get the SMS service from this check. Don’t worry, we’ve taken care of that and you now have a check box option for SMS.
Next week we plan on releasing a fantastic new feature to our BackOffice. Resellers who have an account with us could potentially have thousands of end user DIDs to manage. The feature we plan on releasing will make managing and organizing these DIDs MUCH easier. Keep a look out for a blog post and Wiki article about this next week. You can also prepare for the 3rd and final piece to our Achilles Heel of the VoIP Industry series, as well as another white paper that covers How to Manage Wholesale SIP Termination.
I’d also like to take a minute to spotlight the VoIP Innovations Wiki. We refer to it in quite a few of our blog posts that talk about new features and functionalities. Randy Stegner, the VoIP Innovations Technical Service Manager, has really taken the reins with this one. He is responsible for producing the Support articles that help our customers navigate our BackOffice.
“Without a doubt Randy has moved our Wiki to the next level,” said Barry Yancosek, Sr. Operations Manager at VoIP Innovations. “We went from not having a Wiki at all, to having one with great content that goes in depth on just about every new feature or functionality we create.” There has been so much work put into our Wiki and it deserves to get some credit right now. If you’ve never seen it, take a look at it now and let us know what you think. We always love to hear your feedback!
Now, I know it’s a little past Valentine’s Day, but we’d like to give a special shout-out to Bob at Shadyside West. He was responsible for providing us with the roses and carnations we got on Valentine’s Day. We’ve had great flowers from him in the past and we will definitely be getting his flowers again in the future.
Well, that brings this week’s rendition of ‘A Chat with Nat’ to a close. As always, thanks for reading and if you have any comments, reply to this post or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Have a great St. Paddy’s Day weekend!
