Happy Friday and welcome to this week’s Chat with Nat! Today I have some really important updates to talk about and we know our customers are going to love them. I want to start off by mentioning a customer appreciation promotion that we’re starting next week. Because our customers are so loyal and fantastic, we’re offering some really good number porting specials. You’ll be hearing all of the details next week!
As you know, we launched our Hosted Billing Platform in June and it was designed to be the perfect billing solution for our customers. There is already a built-in tax solution, but we’re getting close to having both SureTax and Compliance Solutions Inc (CSI) integrated into our Hosted Billing Platform as well. When this is completed, resellers will have the ability to rate the taxes for their services. We’ll be keeping you updated on this process as it moves along, but if you have any questions about our Hosted Billing Platform in the meantime, please contact one of our experienced VoIP Consultants
Over the past few months we’ve been working on building a carrier rating system into our wholesale VoIP BackOffice. This system will allow our customers to not only choose carriers by price, but also by performance. Our ultimate goal is for our customers be able to purchase services based on what their end users need. If those needs happens to be price, then they can make their decision on price. But if they’re more focused on higher quality, then they have the options to choose their carriers based on past performance. It’s going to be a great tool for our wholesale VoIP customers and we’ll be sure to let everyone know when it is rolled out.
The last announcement I have to share with everyone is about our new Sansay infrastructure that will be ready to go in October. With this new platform, we’ll be able to operate at a much higher capacity than our current Sansay platform. Along with the additional capacity, we’ll also be focusing more on our Disaster Recovery (DR) site and Business Continuity strategy. This has been in the works for the past 6-months and will give us a large capacity network that operates at 99.999% uptime. In the event of a disaster, this new platform will provide faster recovery time with minimal impact to our wholesale VoIP customers. Here’s what our President, Jason Tapolci, had to say about our new Sansay, “We have spent quite a bit of financial and human capital to build a network that we know will provide reliable service to our customers. I have challenge my team to build a network that never goes down and they have responded. I am very confident that we are in a better place than we were 6-months ago and I look forward to continued growth.”
