Happy Friday! Let’s get your VoIP Innovations weekly recap started, shall we? On Monday we beefed up our systems to withstand the massive growth in customers and minutes we’ve been having. We couldn’t have done it without the help of our amazing IT staff. They handled everything so smoothly and without any disruptions in our services. Thanks again guys, you rock!

This week we also featured a Guest Blog on IP based communication and people management. It was submitted by Mariam Thomas who is a freelance tech savvy blogger. She highlighted five factors that show why IP based communications make it easier to manage people. It was a great read so make sure to check it out if you missed it.

Next stop in our weekly recap is the Q&A we did with our Project Porting Manager, Denise Breide. On August 23 she’ll be celebrating her two year anniversary with us! Denise and I work right next to each other in the office and I hear her on the phone all day with customers but I never really understood what she did. After I did this Q&A with her, it all started to make sense. Her role is to take projects of 50 or more ports and switch them from one service provider to another. Not only does she do her job well, but she enjoys doing it. She builds rapports with her customers and starts to recognize their phone numbers and knows off hand what’s going on with their project and even on some occasions even just calls to wish them a happy birthday. If that’s not great customer service, I don’t know what is!

The last item I need to mention in this week’s Chat with Nat is the new feature we added to our Titanium Private Label (TPL) BackOffice. The feature gives our TPL resellers more customizable options when setting up their new end user sign up display. The customizable options include choosing which packages are shown to end users, editing the descriptions for the available packages and adding in custom services and charges that are offered in the packages.

That just about wraps up this week’s wrap up. Thanks for reading and have a great weekend!
