Welcome back to another fantastic Friday! Before I get into my usual VoIP Innovations updates, I’d like wish everyone a Happy Halloween since I didn’t get too yesterday. It sure was an interesting site around the office since we had a good bit of people dress up. We even held a costume contest! The winners were Denise Breide as Best Woman for her witch costume, Nick Jenkner as Ezio Auditore da Firenze from Assassins Creed as our Best Man, Tom Cavey as Emperor Palpatine from Star Wars as the Scariest, Steve Korbett as Gary King from The World’s End as the Most original, and lastly, the Funniest costume goes to Joe Aponick who actually shaved his head into a Mohawk and dyed his hair so he could become another employee, Jed Blazanin. If you visit our Facebook Page, you'll get to see plenty more pictures.
This week our Executive Team returned from the Gazelles, Inc. Growth Summit with some great insight on new things we can start implementing. I got to talk with a few people who went and they said that going to these summits validates that our company is on the right track. With our coaching and strategic planning skills, we are surely doing something right!
On Monday this week we also welcomed a new --well returning-- employee. Brian Barnebei used to work for us from 2007 to 2011, but he left to pursue other opportunities. After a few years away, we’re happy to say that he is back as our full time Legal Counsel. Welcome back Brian!
Since I’m talking about NEW things, I want to mention that we updated a few more pages in our BackOffice, Titanium III. I mentioned a few weeks ago that the look and feel of some pages might appear differently than before, but don’t worry, because none of the functionality has been changed. Here is an updated list of the pages that have been redone:
- Feedback Form
- Billing Dispute/Billing Request Form
- Ticket Contacts
- Porting Contacts
- Billing Contacts
- Pending/Complete Orders
- Change Password
We featured a great Guest Post this week on the benefits of a Complete Cloud Phone System. The author, Michelle Patterson, went over some basics and then dove right into what a Cloud System can offer a business. Next week we’ll have another Guest Post that goes much more in-depth about how VoIP can impact small businesses.
Also next week we’ll have a great article that talks about how transparent VoIP Innovations really is. If you remember from two weeks ago, we started displaying the full names of our origination and termination carriers in our BackOffice. Offering information like this is what makes us shine; we know our customers want to see it and we’re happy to share it!
While we’re talking about transparency, we started a series that uncovers what new features go through from the time they are first requested, to when they are deployed. Part Two of this series will walk you through what that feature goes through after it is deployed and needs a second look because of a defect or other related issue.
Last but not least, I want to mention again that we’ll be holding an Open House tonight to show off our brand new office. We’ve been expanding the office to support our growth and I’m happy to say that it is all finished and looking great! We’ll be taking pictures tonight, so make sure to check our Facebook Page to see them!
