Happy Friday! The time has come yet again for us to recap everything that went on in the VoIP Innovations office this week. To kick-off on a pleasant note, we had a fantastic time at our Annual Turkey Bowl last Friday. We got to play a few games and thankfully everyone made it back into the office on Monday. Although some had a little bit of a hobble to their step…. We took a bunch of pictures and videos that have been uploaded to our Facebook and YouTube Pages. If you want a good laugh, make sure to check those out!
I do have a few company related announcements to share this week as well. VoIP Innovations is a company that puts a huge focus on its giving back initiatives. Multiple times a year we do volunteer work or organize different fundraising activities. For the holiday season coming up, we’ll be raffling off a special basket of goodies, where the proceeds will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. If you are local to the Pittsburgh, PA area and would be interested in purchasing a ticket, please email me at email@example.com and I can get you more details. If you are not local, but want to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation, you can easily make a donation from their website.
Now if you’ve been to our website this week you may have noticed that we have an Editor’s Choice Award hanging out near the bottom. We got this award from VoIP-Catalog.com because they feel our blog deserves some credit! It’s just a little something to further show that we know what we’re doing and we’re continuing to make a splash in the VoIP industry every day.
Speaking of making a splash in the VoIP industry, next week you’ll be seeing a new look to your BackOffice account. Since we love for our customers to have a variety of customizable options for their account, we decided to introduce customizable widget dashboards. How cool is that?! We’ll be releasing this next week so make sure to look out for another blog post, press release and of course some social media posts that let you know when it gets released.
The last piece of general housekeeping information that I have to share is that we have an opening in our Sales Department. We are seeking an Account Manager who loves the VoIP industry as much as we do and would make a good fit with our team. If you’re interested in this position, check out the Position Description and apply online. We want to hear from you!
We had three great articles on the VoIP Innovations blog this week. The first was a Guest Post written by Linda Swan who is a Freelance Writer. She wrote about the important role that VoIP can play in upcoming mobile technology. Next week we’ll have another great Guest Post on how to smoothly transition your business to VoIP. Just another reminder, we LOVE the opportunity to post blogs from people who share our love of VoIP. Just send me an email and we’ll make it happen.
You may have also seen a blog post this week announcing that we are now offering International Toll-free services to our customers. You can find more details about this service if you look under the Accounts tab in your BackOffice and open the Packages & Pricing option. Our International Toll-free numbers are now available in the following countries:
- Costa Rica
- United Kingdom
- Czech Republic
The last article that we featured on the VoIP Innovations blog this week was written by one of our very own employees. Randy Stegner is our Technical Services Manager and decided to write about the mysteries behind harassing calls that plague the VoIP industry. This week’s post was part one of two and he explained why and how these calls happen and then he sets the stage for part two by saying that victims of harassing calls are not helpless. It’s a very informative article and brings light to a real problem that needed some explanation.
Before I close out this week’s Chat with Nat, I want to let you in on some exciting news. One of my co-workers, Jed Blazanin, got married in August and his wedding was filmed for the TLC show, Four Weddings. The episode will air next Friday, November 29th at 10pm EST. I know I’ll be watching, will you?
On that note, have a great weekend everyone!
