Today we released version 2.5 of our Titanium Private Label VoIP BackOffice (TPL). TPL 2.5 was mostly designed to include new audio features, but of course we had to add some other awesome features as well. The first featured included in the TPL 2.5 update was the Dial by Name Directory that was added to our already functioning auto attendant. This allows end users to easily reach their party by selecting the associated extension.
We next added the ability for our TPL account holders to customize their on-hold music. Those resellers have two options when customizing their music: they can either upload a song or record their own by their phone extension or a computer microphone.
TPL 2.5 also provides the capability of Inbound Call Recording. The Hosted PBX Administrator can turn the recording on or off as needed and they are the ONLY ones who have access to it. The recorded calls are stored for up to 30 days and must be saved before that time is over because we cannot retrieve any deleted files.
Though these audio features add a sense of ease to an end users overall satisfaction, there were a few other functionalities that came with the TPL 2.5 release. International outbound calling for Hosted PBX and SIP Trunks were added along with the ability to port Toll-free numbers. They may be smaller features, but they can be crucial to many businesses.
