We’re thrilled to attend another APIdays event on June 18-19 in Amsterdam! This year’s event is focused on the rise of contextual communications. The idea behind contextual communications is that we can use technology to create richer P2P (person to person) and A2P (application to person) interactions. It combines the services we already use like voice, SMS, and WebRTC to create a better experience for internal or external users.
Internet-supported communication surrounds our everyday lives. Although, that doesn't mean our need for SMS communication is any less critical. Many businesses still rely on SMS to reach their customers so today, we're showing you how to develop a function that sends SMS using our CPaaS product, Apidaze.
Yesterday we held a virtual meet-up to give everyone a live tour of the new VoIP Innovations CPaaS Showroom. Harold Vance, Global Director of Customer Success at VoIP Innovations, joined me in explaining how the Showroom works from a developer and reseller perspective. You can view the recording below.
The VI Showroom is gaining traction, and we're thrilled with the amount of interest we've received so far. To keep that momentum going, I'll be hosting a virtual meet-up to give everyone a live tour of the Showroom. We'll cover everything from signing up to configuration to cash flow models. Please see below for the details and agenda:
Yesterday we completed another fantastic TADHack-mini event in Orlando, Florida. The event began Saturday morning and wrapped up Sunday with pitches and awards. There were seven participating teams this year and four of them utilized our CPaaS product, Apidaze.
The Showroom allows channel partners to resell white-labeled CPaaS apps and services, and developers to monetize the communications services they build.
Pittsburgh, PA - March 14, 2019 - VoIP Innovations (VI) is proud to announce that it has launched its VoIP Innovations Showroom platform. The VI Showroom is an extension of the capabilities available within VI’s Apidaze CPaaS (Communications Platform as a Service) offering. The VI Showroom allows developers to distribute the apps and services they build to VI’s channel and client base of 2000 service providers and enterprises. It provides VI’s channel partners and resellers access to white-labeled CPaaS, as well as pre-built communications apps and services, creating a simple path to participate in the estimated $8.1 Billion marketplace for CPaaS services in 2019. VI Showroom initial applications and services will include natively-developed apps, as well as solutions from Voxist, VoIPly, and FaxLogic.

Today we're wrapping up the 2018 TADHack Global Hackathon! Congrats to the organizers, our co-sponsor, and the participants for making this another successful hackathon. There were over 3,000 participants and through their hard work over the weekend the teams were able to complete over 100 hacks.
The teams built solutions that ranged from a smart motorcycle rider airbag and jacket, to an encrypted prescription service, to an SMS notification system that monitors humidity, temperature, movement, and noise. Though all of the hacks were unique and well designed, there could only be a few winners.
We chose Global Winners as well as Location Winners for South Florida. Our decision was based on the creativity, innovation, and real world application of their solutions. We're proud to say that these services were all built using our Apidaze communications APIs. Be sure to check the links to watch the pitch videos for each solution.
