ITEXPO is the first of many events we have planned in 2019. Are you attending? If so, we'd love to meet up and talk about how VI can potentially help you reduce costs, add additional revenue streams, and more. Here's a quick overview of our offering:
With the potential to become a $140 billion market by 2021, it’s safe to say VoIP is here to stay. But you know what’s an even bigger market? Organizational fraud. Leading publications like Forbes pin this market as high as $190 billion per year, and that undoubtedly includes VoIP fraud.
A year or two ago, we did a comprehensive overview of VoIP fraud including what it is, how to prevent fraud damage, and even what the average attacker is thinking. After a glance at recent research, however, we think it’s time to bring this topic back to the table.
Ah, the fax. It’s a process we’ve all engaged in at least once in our lives (unless you’re a Millennial, more on that below), yet something we all seem to be unfamiliar with. Despite being a pretty straightforward task, it seems there’s still plenty of confusion over the general state of faxing today. Is it dead? Has it taken on new life forms? Do we really still even need it?
Encountering issues with fax over IP (FoIP)? You’re not alone. Although vastly more sophisticated than when it first emerged 30-40 years ago, it’s still common to run into difficulties when using VoIP technology. While it’s true that FoIP offers far more competitive advantages than downfalls, we’d be lying if we said users never have trouble seamlessly making an IP connection (after all, there’s no piece of technology today that’s faultless).
Have you heard about our inbound and outbound fax service offering? This offering was designed specifically for the ITSP and reseller profit pools. Our fax service provides both inbound (Fax-to-Email) and outbound (Email-to-Fax) capabilities. Now you can utilize these features on our fully redundant SIP network to receive a fax termination product that utilizes our network to ensure an improved Email-to-Fax service with a 98%+ completion percentage.
Not too bad, eh?
Today we're handing over the blog to Tim Klein, a Technical Service Representative II here at VoIP Innovations. He works on the front lines assisting our customers and is a wealth of information. Take it away, Tim!
T.38 faxes can fail for several reasons, but this post will touch upon the more common ones.
When you think of faxing, you may imagine the classic fax machine scene from the movie “Office Space.” You may envision the old multifunction printer your grandfather had in his home office. When we hear the word “fax,” we tend to think of things that are out fashioned; an interesting comparison considering the prevalence of fax today. Regardless of how seemingly irrelevant the fax may seem, research indicates that, on average, the world sends as many as 100 billion faxes per year.
Once again, we're handing over the blog to Tim Klein, a Technical Service Representative II here at VoIP Innovations. He works on the front lines assisting our customers and knows all about finding solutions. Let's hear it from Tim!
Did you know that roughly 10 percent of all VARs (Value Added Resellers) move into the MSP (Managed Service Provider) market, but only 10 percent of those companies generate enough revenue to be considered successful? The managed services market may be exploding—it’s slated for a 10.8 percent CAGR between 2016 and 2021—but that makes the market more competitive than ever for MSPs looking to increase profits.
